Tips

Here is how I gain followers:

1. Have a specific theme to your blog
People are always looking for blogs that post the same things as them so try and stick to one theme

2.Have a URL that's easy to remember
If your URL is simple, it's more likely that people will remember your blog or recognize you

3.Make sure you're blog isn't confusing
Put 3-6 links in your navigation bar so people don't have a hard time getting around your blog (tropical blogs typically have more links in the nav bar. If you have lots, be sure to make the font small so they all fit on one line)

4.Use Hover tabs
This also helps with keeping your blog clean and easy to use. Hover tabs are good for descriptions, networks, statistics...etc

5.Be nice to your followers
I can't stress this enough. They should mean the world to you and you should treat them like gold. (But if you ever get hate, you don't always have to answer them nicely if they're wrong and you're right)

6.Reblog stuff
If you reblog a lot of stuff and put a small self promo saying "Tropical blog" or "more tropical posts here" people might check out your blog

7.Participate in promos
Even though you might have to follow 5+ blogs, they might follow you back and you have a chance to get promoted by them

8.Delete Promos after 15-20 minutes
This just helps to keep your blog looking clean and pretty to look at
